Additionally, Trump indicated he would consider parallel steps against LA for the 2028 Olympics due to possible public safety risks.

Although Trump does not have official jurisdiction to directly relocate either tournament, he is able to exert influence the international organizations in charge of each event to change venues.

His statements were made during a media briefing with Argentinian president Milei, who was at the White House following the announcement of a multibillion-dollar bailout for the Latin American economy.
